Family Academy
Family Academy classes provide participants with practical skills that can be applied to help youth refrain from criminal and delinquent behaviors. Emphasis is placed on decision making, communication, problem solving, anger management, values, and understanding the consequences of their misconduct. While the focus of this program is placed on youth who have committed their first law violation, Family Academy is also utilized by school personnel seeking an alternative to school suspension. This program has proven to be over 90% effective in deterring delinquent behaviors in juveniles that have completed the program. Family Academy enrollment is open to any family that desires to obtain skills that will strengthen positive relationships and enable youth to make better decisions in their life.
